Produced from Kagoshima prefecture, Pimento is smaller in comparison to other bell pepper, has an elongated, block-like shape with deep ridges. The skin is in dark green, thin and smooth, the flesh is crunchy, aqueous, with a subtly sweet flavour, a vegetal and slightly bitter undertone. Perfect for grilling, stuffing, baking, sauteing, it can be eaten raw such as in sandwiches, salads, or cooked in curries, stews.
